The villa is accessed though the main front door into a spacious entry hall. Steps lead down to the first of two living spaces which offers a film room, with flat screen TV for guests’ enjoyment. Further steps lead to a large and bright living room, with windows framing the magnificent views to the countryside beyond.
The living room has a generous corner sofa, easy chairs and a traditional wood-burning fireplace, making it a perfect place to unwind. Leading off from the living room is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances including two electric ovens, a five-ring gas hob, large fridge, dishwasher and double sink. There is also a dining table with seating for eight and a breakfast bar with seating for three. The floor to ceiling French windows provide access to the outdoor dining spaces and stunning views over the valley. From here one can also see the ancient hill top village of Montone, whose bells can be heard in the distance. The kitchen opens out onto two separate eating/seating areas; an outdoor deck with an umbrella and table seating six and an external covered loggia with a BBQ . There is a large utility room off the kitchen equipped with a freezer, ice machine, washing machine and separate dryer, sink and ironing equipment. The kitchen and the utility room both open out onto the outdoor kitchen garden, also on the ground floor leading off the main entrance hall is a small study room. Finally on the ground floor is the first master bedroom suite. This has a large double bedroom, its own terrace, an open plan dressing area with a claw foot bath plus a separate wet room and toilet.
The internal staircase leads up to the first floor where there are two large bedrooms, the first has a double bed and its own shower room and toilet opposite and the second has twin beds with a bathroom with a shower and twin sinks opposite.
At the end of the corridor is the main master suite, with its own dressing room and en-suite bathroom with free standing bath and huge open shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed and no less than six windows making an exceptionally light and airy space. There is a traditional working fireplace and French doors opening onto a private seating area and the original external staircase. A spiral staircase off the dressing room leads to the tower room which offers futons for extra sleeping accommodation.
Surrounded by lawns, olives, woods and a mountainous horizon, anyone staying at it will appreciate the superb views and the special sense of peace and calm.
